July already….really?????
Well, as always, life is busy, summer is flying by and no vacation yet. Gotta work on that!
Here a few pics of the garden, house, etc. I love how everything comes alive this time of year! The garden is booming with peas and lettuce right now, the rest is on the way – can’t wait!
I had to sneak a pic of my great niece in there too – she is so precious!

Busy, busy, busy
I can’t believe it has been 3 weeks already… so much for daily happenings!
We just celebrated my daughter’s 20th birthday. Time flies when you’re having fun!
I have been busy quilting, as usual. I just completed 3 quilts for Laurie Simpson/Moda for spring market. Now to the graduation ones and that will get me out from under my deadliners! Yippee!

Sharing some family pics

A dreary day in Michigan
A dreary spring day in Michigan – yucko! Thought I would share my pics of the backyard. We took out the pool on Saturday and now removing the rocks and junk to make room for a nice BIG garden!
I am spending the day quilting (not for me sadly…) and getting my taxes done. Nothing like the last minute….

a bit of what I have been up to….
Over the past couple of weeks, I have had both machines crankin! That is a pile of 24 quilts for 4 customers – glad to be done with that pile! There are some close-ups of them. The string quilt is mine – it was so fun to make…wish I had more time to sew.
I can hardly beleive it has taken my 4 months to get this thing going….geez.
The time has come to start this blogging thing! My hope/plan is to take lots of photos of the happenings in my daily life. Quilts, family, life! Stay tuned….hope to have lots more to come!
